RAPAT for Excel 365

RAPAT is an easy-to-use Excel-based Innovation Management and Guidance Tool, designed to help innovators better understand and efficiently navigate the technical and commercial barriers to product development, qualification and deployment.

The tool helps to:

  • define technology and user requirements
  • understand and manage commercial and technical risks
  • plan required testing and assurance activities
  • prepare funding applications, including market appraisals, TRL assessment and cost estimates
  • align with responsible innovation expectations
  • document fulfilment of requirements to facilitate product acceptance/certification

It is also able to support acceptance/procurement authorities reviewing the submitted evidence of a new product's fitness for purpose and certification when required.

This Excel add-in is designed for use with Office 365 and can operate on both Windows and Mac operating systems, with an active internet connection required when using the tool. Operating through Office 365 it provides truly collaborative working with capability for development teams to use the tool concurrrently.

The previous desktop version of RAPAT has now been withdrawn ahead of the imminent release of RAPAT for Excel 365. Details of licence and pricing options and how to purchase RAPAT for Excel 365 will be available shortly.
