Astrimar support Supercritical on groundbreaking government-backed green partnership
Supercritical and HAMR partner to drive forward their renewable methanol technology with UK support from Astrimar and Manufacturing Technology Centre
HAMR Energy and Supercritical have been awarded funding from the Australia-UK Renewable Hydrogen Innovation Partnership to embark on a project that will demonstrate that renewable methanol costs can be reduced by up to 20% with ultra-high efficiency, high pressure green hydrogen production. The partnership aims to commercialise the concept and drive commercial work scale systems to market by 2030. The project brings together game-changing innovation in electrolysis from the UK and a burgeoning market opportunity for renewable methanol in Australia.
In collaboration with Supercritical , HAMR, and the Manufacturing Technology Centre, Astrimar will support the project by facilitating the development of a certification and compliance road map for the containerised product concept for markets in the UK and Australia.
This venture underpins Supercritical's and HAMR's commitment to innovation and belief that the right technology can turn the tide on global energy challenges. We are very pleased to be playing a small part in supporting their journey!
